We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of Instagram data, and Instagram may change its platform at any time, which could affect the functionality of our Service.

ACCOUNTS AND AUTHENTICATION
Inspector uses anonymous authentication. No email address, password, or social login is required. Your account is tied to your device via an anonymous identifier (UUID) assigned on first launch.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. Your account cannot be transferred between devices. If you lose access to your device, your account and associated data may be irrecoverable.
-
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
Inspector offers free and premium (paid) tiers. Premium subscriptions are available as weekly or yearly plans.
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) via in-app purchases. We use a third-party subscription management service to track subscription status. We never directly process, access, or store your payment information.
Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region. Renewal, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by the applicable app store’s terms:
- Apple: Manage subscriptions
- Google: Manage subscriptions
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
-
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer of Inspector from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from: (i) your use of the Service; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (iv) your use of Instagram data obtained through the Service. This obligation survives termination of these Terms.
-
ACCOUNT DELETION AND TERMINATION
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data from our servers, including device records, tracked profiles, follower data, subscription records, and notification preferences.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
We may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
-
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service integrates with third-party services for backend infrastructure, subscription management, analytics, push notification delivery, and data retrieval. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Such links do not imply our endorsement of or affiliation with those websites or services.
-
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
By enabling push notifications, you agree to receive alerts about changes to the Instagram profiles you track and service-related communications. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or configure per-profile notification preferences within the App.
-
INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@inspector.social. We will attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting you via email. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal proceedings.
-
BINDING ARBITRATION AND CLASS WAIVER (U.S. USERS ONLY)
Agreement to Arbitration. You and Inspector agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (collectively, “Disputes”) will be settled by binding arbitration, except that each party retains the right to bring an individual action in small claims court and the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.
Class Waiver. YOU AND INSPECTOR AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON’S CLAIMS OR ENGAGE IN ANY CLASS ARBITRATION. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU ARE WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be governed by the Commercial Arbitration Rules and the Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as modified by these Terms. The AAA Rules are available at www.adr.org. The arbitrator is bound by these Terms. Unless both parties agree otherwise, any arbitration hearings will take place in the county of your billing address. If your claim is for $10,000 or less, you may choose whether the arbitration is conducted solely on the basis of documents, by telephone, or in person. The arbitrator shall issue a reasoned written decision.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to support@inspector.social within 30 days of first becoming subject to this provision. Your notice must include your name, a description of your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, all other provisions of these Terms remain in effect.
Jury Trial Waiver. IF FOR ANY REASON A DISPUTE PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN IN ARBITRATION, YOU AND INSPECTOR EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
If this arbitration section is held unenforceable, the entirety of this section will be deemed void, and all Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
-
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. For U.S. users, the binding arbitration provisions in Section 17 apply. For disputes not subject to arbitration, the parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of a court of competent jurisdiction.
-
MISCELLANEOUS
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights granted hereunder. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Inspector regarding the Service.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, labor disputes, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, or changes to third-party platforms.
- No Third-Party Beneficiaries. These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights.
- Contact. If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@inspector.social or visit inspector.social.
